10th Anniversary Meeting, 12 April 2018

Thursday 12 April 2018 saw a very special meeting of the Lodge as it marked the 10th anniversary of the Lodge being founded. To those present, who had been there since the beginning, it seemed that the time had passed in the blink of an eye and caused many to reflect on how so much had changed for us all since the Lodge was founded.

WBro Ian Gallehawk, currently Assistant Provincial Grand Master for the Mark Province of Kent and a founder of the Lodge, was honoured to become Worshipful Master in the 10th anniversary year and expressed his joy and gratitude to the Lodge for its support.

The Provincial Grand Master was represented in a most capable manner by WBro David Miller, a regular and much valued guest of old, who struggled with a leg injury to ensure that he would share this special event with all present.

To round the day off, the Mark and Royal Ark Mariner Lodges dug deep into their coffers to make donations to the Kent Mark 2020 Festival to ensure that both Lodges celebrate the occasion by each attaining the 2020 Festival Platinum award.

The event could not pass without a picture of all present being taken. Please click on the thumbnail below to see a full size image.
