Erdemont Lodge of Mark Master Masons No 1894
Consecrated 12 June 2008
Charity
As all Masons and many people, who are not Masons, will be aware, charity is the foundation principle of the entire, extended Masonic family.
The Province of Kent was recently privileged to be "in Festival" by way of the 2020 Festival in favour of the Mark Benevolent Fund. The Mark Benevolent fund helps Mark Masons and their families but also makes significant grants to non Masonic charities.
The Erdemont Mark and Royal Ark Mariner Lodges directed their charitable activities in support of the 2020 Festival.
Erdemont Lodge of Mark Master Masons 1894 qualified as a Grand Patron Diamond Award Lodge in the Mark Benevolent Fund and the Worshipful Master is now authorised to wear the distinctive Jewel at all meetings while the Royal Ark Mariner Lodge attained the Mark Benevolent Fund Grand Patron Gold award.
Now that the Festival is over, the Lodge is supporting the Kent Mark Benevolent Fund, a charity that assists Mark Masons and their families as well as the wider community.
